SMAP Winds Resumed

We have resumed the distribution of the RSS SMAP wind products. A comparison to WindSat highlighted that the SMAP wind retrievals started deteriorating on Feb 6, 2019, and the anomaly lasted until Feb 10. Resumed data is available to the public starting from Feb 11.

Timeseries of the globally average wind speed bias between SMAP wind retrievals and WindSat winds colocated within 120 minutes, for the morning and afternoon passes starting January 2019.
